Most window coverings are designed for square or rectangular windows.
Specialty shaped windows are different. An arch, circle, triangle, or angle-top window usually needs something custom made. Shutters work well because the frame and louvers can be built to follow the shape of the window.

Arched window shutters.
Arched windows are one of the most popular specialty shutter applications.

The right option depends on the size of the arch, the room, and how much light control you want.
Angle-top, rake, and triangle shutters.
Many Arizona homes have angled or high architectural windows, especially in great rooms, stairways, lofts, and front elevations.
These windows can be difficult to cover with standard products. Shutters are often a strong option because they can be custom built to match the angle of the opening.

Custom measuring matters.
Specialty shaped shutters are not something you want guessed.
A small measuring mistake on an arch, angle, or circle can change the fit and appearance of the finished shutter. That is why these windows require careful measuring and, in some cases, templates.
